With a robust background as a business owner and a former member of the Northern County Transportation Commission, Rich has dedicated himself to fostering economic growth and enhancing regional mobility.

Currently serving on the City of Palmdale High-Speed Rail Station Area Plan, Technical Working Group, and the Active Transportation Program Plan – Technical Advisory Committee, Rich plays a pivotal role in shaping the future infrastructure of Palmdale. His expertise spans various levels of project management, catalyzing positive changes in both corporate environments and city governance, thereby improving conditions for local businesses.

As the owner of Modern Design Plus, a leading firm specializing in residential and commercial design, Rich brings over three decades of experience in the architectural industry. His portfolio boasts multimillion-dollar projects for esteemed clients such as IKEA, Vons, GTE, the City of Los Angeles, L.A. Unified School District, County of Los Angeles, and Kaiser Permanente.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Rich serves on the Business Advisory Boards for San Joaquin Valley Jr. College and Antelope Valley City College in Lancaster, California, contributing his expertise to shape educational curricula and opportunities for future professionals.
